Festive Event Decoration Services & Shop Products

These Website Terms & Conditions ("Website Terms") apply to enquiries, quotations, bookings, services and purchases made with Twinkle Jingle Services ("TJS"). Project-specific quotations and Service Agreements may contain additional or different terms. Where there is a conflict, the signed or accepted project-specific document prevails to the extent of that conflict.
1. QUOTATIONS & BOOKINGS
Quotations are based on information available at the time and are subject to décor, material, tree, supplier and manpower availability.
The validity period shown on the quotation applies. A booking is confirmed only after TJS receives the required payment and written confirmation.
Reference images, mood boards, estimates and preliminary proposals are conceptual and do not constitute a confirmed booking or guarantee an exact replica.
Changes to venue, scope, quantities, materials, dates, access or working hours may change the price.
2. PAYMENT
The deposit and balance requirements stated in the quotation apply. Unless otherwise stated, a minimum 50% deposit is required and the balance is due before installation.
Certain commercial, customized, live-tree or high-value projects may require 70% upon confirmation and 30% before installation, or other milestones stated in the quotation.
Shop products are generally payable in full before dispatch or collection.
3. CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING
Unless the quotation states otherwise: more than 60 days before installation - 25% of the quotation is payable; 30-59 days - 50%; 15-29 days - 75%; within 14 days - 100%.
Specially ordered, customized, fabricated, imported, seasonal or non-refundable items already ordered or purchased are chargeable in full where applicable.
Postponements and date changes are subject to availability. Additional supplier, storage, transport, manpower, venue-access and production costs may apply.
4. DESIGN, MATERIALS & SUBSTITUTIONS
Mood boards and reference images are for design direction only. Final dimensions, quantities, materials and placement may vary according to site conditions, availability, safety, budget and approved design.
TJS may use a comparable substitute if an approved item becomes unavailable, while maintaining the intended design direction where reasonably possible.
Client-requested changes after approval or confirmation may incur additional charges.
5. SITE, ACCESS & VENUE REQUIREMENTS
The Client must provide accurate site information, timely access, suitable power points, loading/parking arrangements and a safe working environment.
Venue approvals, permits, security deposits, building-management requirements, special lifting equipment, additional electrical works, LEW/PE/engineering services and after-hours charges are excluded unless expressly included in the quotation.
Waiting time, delayed access, extended hours, additional manpower or additional visits may be charged separately.
6. RENTAL DÉCOR & DAMAGE
Rental décor, props and reusable equipment remain the property of TJS or its supplier.
The Client is responsible for their care from delivery/installation until collection/dismantling. Loss, theft or damage may be charged at reasonable repair, cleaning or replacement cost.
After handover, décor should not be moved, altered or tampered with by the Client, guests, venue staff or third parties.
7. LIVE CHRISTMAS TREES
Fresh-cut/live Christmas trees are natural seasonal products. Height, fullness, branch structure, color and shape will naturally vary.
Availability is secured only after supplier confirmation and the required TJS payment/booking conditions are met.
Special freight, early-season import, lifting, anchoring, ballast, electrical, LEW/PE, access equipment, permits and difficult disposal/access are additional unless expressly included.
8. INSURANCE & LIABILITY
TJS maintains appropriate business/public liability insurance for its operations.
TJS is responsible for direct loss or damage proven to result from its negligence or willful misconduct, subject to applicable law and applicable insurance terms.
TJS is not responsible for pre-existing defects, unsuitable fixing points, venue/building/electrical faults, Client-supplied equipment, third-party interference, unauthorized movement of décor, or circumstances outside TJS's reasonable control.
The Client is responsible for appropriate event/project/site insurance and venue-specific insurance requirements where applicable.
To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, TJS is not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as loss of profit, business interruption or loss of opportunity.
8A. THIRD-PARTY CONTRACTORS & SERVICE PROVIDERS
TJS may engage independent contractors, subcontractors, freelance personnel, manpower providers, installers, electricians, Licensed Electrical Workers (LEWs), Professional Engineers (PEs), transport providers, equipment suppliers, specialist vendors and other third-party service providers (collectively, "Third-Party Providers") to perform parts of the services.
To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, TJS is not liable for acts, omissions, negligence, misconduct, delay, default, injury, loss or damage caused directly by a Third-Party Provider where the matter is outside TJS's reasonable control, except to the extent arising directly from TJS's own negligence, willful misconduct or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Where a Third-Party Provider is independently appointed, nominated, instructed or engaged directly by the Client, venue, building management or another party, TJS is not responsible for that provider's acts, omissions, workmanship, safety compliance or performance.
Certain specialist services may also be subject to the Third-Party Provider's own terms, insurance coverage, exclusions and limitations of liability.
9. SHOP PRODUCTS
Standard-stock products may be returned within 14 days only if unused, unopened, undamaged and in original resaleable packaging, subject to applicable law and TJS approval.
Customized, personalized, special-order and overseas-sourced products are generally non-returnable once procurement or production has begun.
Product damage should be reported within 48 hours of delivery or collection with photographs where requested.
10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & PRIVACY
TJS quotations, concepts, mood boards, drawings, proposals and design materials remain TJS intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing and may not be provided to competing vendors for copying or replication.
TJS may use photographs/videos of completed installations for portfolio and marketing purposes subject to applicable privacy requirements. Clients who object should notify TJS in writing before installation.
Personal information is used for enquiries, quotations, bookings, payments and project fulfilment and is handled in accordance with applicable Singapore data-protection requirements.
11. FORCE MAJEURE & LAW
TJS is not liable for delay or failure caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, venue closure, government restrictions, supplier/shipping/customs disruption, transport disruption or power/system failures.
These Website Terms are governed by Singapore law. The parties should first attempt to resolve disputes in good faith.
12. PROJECT-SPECIFIC TERMS
For substantial projects, TJS may require a separate Service Agreement. The quotation, accepted scope, Service Agreement and these Website Terms should be read together.
Where a project-specific quotation, invoice or signed Service Agreement conflicts with these Website Terms, the project-specific document prevails to the extent of the conflict.
